White Dental Fillings

No Mercury in Our Fillings

The amalgam, or silver-mercury, filling has been the standard material used for cavity restoration for a great number of years. Some practices may still use it, but we use only modern, composite resin fillings. Metal fillings do not adhere well to tooth structure, often allowing decay to set into the gaps between filling and tooth. The dark metals in light teeth are not pleasing in appearance. The filling material we use bonds well to teeth to greatly reduce the chance of decay and can be made to match the shade of the tooth. The result is an unnoticeable filling that provides full functionality to the tooth, adding beauty to your smile.
